Beaufort modern Restaurant

I was in Crete for a few days with my partner, in the southwest part of the island where nature is wilder. A lover of good food and good wine might think that there are no restaurants where you can enjoy a candlelit dinner in such a wild place, but I was amazed by how the owner was able to spoil us with typical delicacies, revisited in a creative way , also suggesting a wine worthy of note. For those who spend a few days in Crete and are also a good taster, definitely a recommended destination. The venue is a modern pearl in the wilderness, illuminated by soft lighting and moonlight at night. We haven't had the pleasure of going there during the day but we will definitely be back.

I would fly 26 hours just to have this experience again! A perfect blend of a creative take on local dishes, with local and high quality ingredients, set in a peaceful and beautiful landscape. We were so lucky to find this restaurant on our stay in Crete. Also being our first time in Greece, there is no better welcoming to the food and wine that this island has to offer! The owners were so friendly and attentive - they really care about their business and go above and beyond for their customers.This is some of the best food I've ever had (the Modern Greek Salad and Trio of dips were soooo good), and I cannot recommend dining here highly enough. The portions were extremely generous, and the flavour being next level. I can't wait to visit again for the homemade cheesecake!

So far my best gastronomic experience in Crete. Great and friendly service, charming atmosphere and unforgettable food. I recommend it to everyone without reservation. Skioufihta pasta with apaki was the best dish of this year.

At Beaufort, my wife and I embarked on an enchanting culinary journey that we'll cherish forever. The food was exquisite, the desserts were irresistible, and the paired wine was perfect. The hospitality made the evening even more memorable. We can't wait to return!

We chose this place for my birthday dinner while on holiday in Frangokastello, and it was perfect! The vibe was more sophisticated than the usual tavernas in the area, yet still laid-back and friendly. The food was very delicious and fulfilling. Do not miss the cheese sticks and the modern greek salad! We liked the calamari and the local fish fillet, too. There are nice wines to pair with your meal. In the future, a nice addition would be cocktails. I hope we can return sometime soon!

Wow, such a great restaurant. Amazing dishes created with 1000% of love from the lady chef cook :-) Excellent quality as well as an excellent service. This family restaurant is really great, you have to try it if you are staying at Frangokastello.

The food was amazing and a for a really reasonable price. The owner and the waiters were very nice. You can get a super nice view from your table right next to the harbour! Our host recommended this place, now I recommend it anyone who comes to Crete :) I suggest the beuschetta with smoked eel, it was amazingly good.
